The US bomber held the training mission alongside Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) fighters.

“The bomber departed Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, and conducted training in the vicinity of the East China Sea,” US Pacific Air Forces said.

It noted that the Stratofortress completed multiple integrations with 12 Koku Jieitai F-15s and 4 F-2s, routing over the Sea of Japan before returning to Guam.

“U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s continuous bomber presence (CBP) operations have been ongoing since March 2004; the recent missions are consistent with international law and United States’ long-standing and well-known freedom of navigation policies,” the US Pacific Air Forces said.
