PHL Army holding second inspection of South Korean Kooryong MLRS

Philippine Army Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Plans Colonel Romulo Manuel said in an interview with reporters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on August 14 that the Army any time soon will hold a second visual inspection of used K136 Kooryong Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) being provided by South Korea, as reported by PNA.

Colonel Manuel added that discussion on how to transport the Kooryong MLRS is ongoing.

“May pinag-usapan sa transport system,” he said as quoted by PNA.

Manuel said the MLRS has a range of 48 kilometers to 80 kilometers and the transfer is composed of four batteries with one going to the Philippine Marine Corps.
