Philippine Navy launches online application platform

The Philippine Navy has launched its online application facility, recruitment.navy.mil.ph, which will receive applications from aspiring naval/Marine officers and enlisted personnel, as well as non-uniformed personnel.

“Henceforth, we no longer accept application thru email at navy.recruitment2020@gmail.com but you can still send your concerns, feedbacks, and inquiries,” the Philippine Navy said.

Qualifications for the Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC) Sailor/Marines include: natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character, 21-29 years old, unmarried and with no child to support, graduate of a 4 or 5 year baccalaureate degree, 5’0″ tall for Sailor/ 5’4″ (male) and 5’2″ (female) for Marines, no pending civil/criminal case, physically and mentally fit for training, pass the AFP Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT), IQ Test and Special Written Examination (SWE), Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

Complete one (1) set of four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws is included as additional qualification for NOCC Sailor and preferably graduate of technical courses.

For the Basic Seaman Course, qualifications include: natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character; 18-26 years old; unmarried and with no child to support, 72 units in college (preferably technical courses), K-12 graduate or TESDA NC II; 5’0″ tall; no pending civil/criminal case; physically and mentally fit for training; with complete one (1) set of four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws; pass the AFP Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT), IQ examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT).


For the Marine Basic Course, qualifications include: natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character; 18-26 years old; unmarried and with no child to support, 72 units in college, K-12 graduate or TESDA NC II; 5’4″ (male) and 5’2″ (female); no pending civil/criminal case; physically and mentally, psychologically fit for training; pass Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
