PAF establishing F/SAA/LIFT basing support system in Palawan

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) has initiated the procurement project that would establish Fighter/Surface Attack Aircraft/Lead-in Fighter Trainer (F/SAA/LIFT) Basing Support System at Antonio Bautista Air Base, Brgy. San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

PAF is inviting contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the said project, F/SA/LIFTA Basing Support System Project for the PAF (Lot 2). It has an approved budget for contract of PHP44,650,000.00.

A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled on February 22, 10:00 AM at Marquez Hall, Tactical Operations Wing, Antonio Bautista Air Base, Brgy. San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Submission of Bids is on March 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM same place.

PAF said it reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.


“The project involves the construction of basing facilities in Antonio Bautista Air Base in Palawan for the PAF’s fleet of FA-50PH light combat aircraft, which could also be used by the PAF’s future fleet of multirole fighters,” MaxDefense Philippines said.
