Navy special operations group welcomes new commander

Philippine Navy Naval Special Operations Group (NAVSOG) welcomed its new commander Commander Dwight Steven M. Dulnoan during a change of command ceremony on July 4.

“Captain Andro Val P. Abayon relinquished his duties and responsibilities as the Commander of NAVSOG to Commander Dwight Steven M Dulnoan. The ceremony was presided by the Commander Philippine Fleet Rear Admiral Giovanni Carlo J. Bacordo,” the Philippine Fleet said.

According to Philippine Fleet, Cmdr. Dulnoan is a member of PMA Maalab Class of 1993 and was previously the Deputy, Joint and Combined Training Center of AFP Education, Training and Doctrine Command, GHQ-AFPWSSU, AFP.

“The PN is ensured of a high standard and excellence in special operations missions, with the commitment and dedication of men and women of NAVSOG in the service of our maritime nation,” it added.
