The Philippine Navy today, June 17, during its 121st founding anniversary celebration in Sangley Point, Cavite, officially unveiled it newly acquired assets through Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Modernization Program First Horizon.
Reporters from Inquirer.net and Daily Tribune are among the first to upload photos of the said unveiling.
Among the new assets that were unveiled and blessed were the first four of eight ordered Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAVs) from South Korea and two AW-159 anti-submarine warfare helicopters from Leonardo.

The AAVs will be operating under Philippine Marines, while the anti-submarine warfare helicopters will be under the Naval Air Wing.
