Naval reservists get familiarization training aboard Philippine Navy ship

Naval reservists of 12th and 13th Naval Group Reserve (NGR) under the Naval Reserve Center – Northern Luzon received a familiarization orientation training aboard Philippine Navy ship BRP Miguel Malvar (PS 19) on April 14, the Naval Forces Northern Luzon (NFNL) said.

“The 12th and 13th NGR was composed of 56 naval reservists. Cmdr. Laurence A. Atega, the deputy commander of Naval Reserve Center – Northern Luzon led the reservists during their orientation training,” NFNL said.

Naval Forces Northern Luzon is the naval component of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) – Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM).

NOLCOM conducts support operations to establish a condition wherein the well-being of the people of Northern and Central Luzon are protected and enhanced.
