Military intelligence service gets new head

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) public affairs office chief Colonel Noel Detoyato has confirmed that Major General Erwin Bernard Neri was named as the new head of Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).

Neri is a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1988.

He is replacing Lieutenant General Macairog Alberto who was appointed as Philippine Army chief last October 15.


Colonel Detoyato said that Neri, who was the deputy of Alberto, became the acting head of ISAFP when Alberto was promoted.
