Korean Marines train Filipino counterparts in using Amphibious Assault Vehicles

The Republic of Korea (ROK) Marine Corps has started training personnel from the Philippine Marine Corps in operating Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAVs).

Photos of the said training were released by the ROK Marines on October 31.


The Philippine Marines is set to receive a total of 8 brand new AAVs ordered from South Korean manufacturer Hanwha Techwin.

Four are expected to be delivered in April 2019, while final four are expected August 2019.
