The apprehension is a result of the close collaboration of the Army and the police in carrying out law enforcement operations.

The Philippine Army is serious in its crackdown of unscrupulous individuals who use government resources and equipment for financial gain and will closely coordinate with the PNP in the conduct of investigations in order to determine how the rifle rounds were acquired by the suspect. PHILIPPINE ARMY
