Japan turns over 26 Mitsubishi patrol vehicles to Davao City

On January 15, President Rodrigo Duterte attended the turn over of 26 Mitsubishi patrol vehicles donated by the Japanese government to Davao City Police Office.

These vehicles will be used for anti-criminality efforts and police visibility patrol within the city of Davao.

The donation was made possible by Japan International Cooperation System (JICS), in coordination with the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Directorate for Logistics.


These vehicles are part of 210 million pesos worth of equipment donation by Japanese government to Philippines.

Also conducted during the event was the inauguration of new Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) XI Building at the Ecoland, Davao City on January 15, 2018.
