“You know ang sumusulat ng Bibliya, anak ka ng – that was 3,000 years ago. Anong pakialam noong mga g*** na ‘yun sa ating buhay ngayon,” President Rodrigo Duterte said during the 85th Anniversary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on December 6.
“Sa totoo lang. Who were they? Nakapag-aral ba ‘yun? Mga UP writers ba ‘yun? 3,000 years ago tapos hanggang ngayon binu-b******* tayo,” he added.
President Duterte also narrated how his partner Honeylet Avanceña encouraged him to read the Bible.
“What my wife does is she reads a passage in the Bible, palitpalit kami. Tapos I do my prayer and she would say, “God, Rodrigo is going to Luzon and you know that we do not have much money to rent the new
ones. He’s only using a secondhand. But kindly make his..,” he said.
“Tapos ako naman kinabukasan basa ako – Sabi niya maski saan. Basa ako, “And King David entered the city of…” Ayan, nandiyan ‘yan. “Bringing with his is his army and his 43 wives.” Sabi ko kay Honeylet, “T**** i**, Let, this is the last.
