Four officers under Philippine Army Aviation Battalion (AABn) have undergone the Rotary Wing Transition Course Class 1-2018. The training opened September 13 at the Aviation Training School in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
“The first batch composed of four Army Aviators rated in fixed wing aircraft were selected to undergo the training that will qualify them to fly helicopters which will be acquired later by the Philippine Army under the AFP Modernization Program,” AABn said.
The opening ceremony on September 13 was led by Army Colonel Ezra James Enriquez, Inspector General of Mechanized Infantry Division.
Colonel Enriquez is a former commanding officer of AABn and a Command Army Aviator.
