Air Force’s 8 AW-109 armed helicopters for scheduled maintenance

The Philippine Air Force (PAF)’s eight AgustaWestland AW-109AH helicopters are for scheduled maintenance. In line with this, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the PAF is acquiring PHP80,750,000 worth of spare parts.

The pre-bid conference is scheduled on November 9, while the Deadline of Submission of Bids/Opening of Bids is scheduled on November 21. Both will be held at PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

“Prospective bidders should have an experience in similar project within the last 5 years,” PAF said. “The Pre-bidding Conference shall be open to prospective bidders.”

It added that it reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.

“All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR),” PAF said.
