Air Force building strike wing base in Mindanao

The Philippine Air Forces (PAF) has initiated the acquisition program for its 15th Strike Wing’s base in Lumbia Airport, Cagayan de Oro City.

The acquisition project, entitled “Design and Build of the Site Development, Operational, and Operational Support Facilities of the 15th Strike Wing in Lumbia Airport, Cagayan de Oro City,” has an approved budget for contract (ABC) of PHP974,569,400.00.

The 15th Strike Wing is currently operating MD-520MG and AW-109AH armed helicopters, and OV-10A/C and SF-260TP aircraft. The upcoming 2 used Bell AH-1F Cobra attack helicopters donated by Jordan are also expected to be operated by 15th Strike Wing.


The deadline of submission of bids and the opening of bids is set on November 9, 2018 at PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

A pre-bid conference is set on October 15.
