“In less than three months, the world-class Terminal 2 of the Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) will be ready to serve local and international passengers going in and out of the Queen City of the South,” DOTr said last week.

The development of Mactan-Cebu International Airport Passenger Terminal Building is a public-private partnership between Department of Transportation (DOTr)-Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority and GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation (GMCAC).

“The project involves the construction of a new world-class passenger terminal building in MCIA, with a capacity of about 8 million passengers per year; and the operation of the old and new facilities,” the PPP Center said.
