President Rodrigo Duterte slammed the NPA terrorists after a Manobo Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) member was reportedly beheaded.
“What makes them different from the ISIS and kidnappers? Is justice being shown there?” President Duterte said during an Indigenous Peoples Leaders’ Summit in Davao City on February 1.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said Manobo CAFGU Mar Acebedo Bocales was tortured prior to his beheading.
AFP said Bocales “was abducted as he was hunting for wild animals to feed his family. His body bore torture marks as he was made to suffer before being beheaded by NPA terrorists in the mountains of San Miguel, Surigao del Sur on January 29, 2018.”
“This is yet again proof of the numerous atrocities of the NPA and of their barbarism that is comparable to the Abu Sayyaf and Daesh-Inspired Maute terrorists who behead their helpless victims,” AFP said.
