WATCH: Israeli rifles for PNP undergo testing

A team from Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a pre-delivery inspection of Israeli-made rifles in Israel, Armscor said in its social networking page on July 2.

Armscor Global Defense Inc. was awarded by PNP two contracts for 698 units of 5.56mm basic assault rifle worth PHP57.236 million and 4,933 units of 5.56mm basic assault rifle worth PHP404.506 million in December 2017 and January 2018, respectively.

Armscor offered 5.56mm NATO assault rifles from Israeli small arms, guns, and weapons manufacturer Emtan.

According to Armscor head Martin Tuason, random sampling for function test and 20 thousand endurance test on one rifle was done.
