Philippine Air Force (PAF) FA-50PH participated in the said rehearsal. A photo released by the US Air Force shows the FA-50PH flying over Col. Ernesto Ravina Air Base, Crow Valley Military Reservation, Capas, Tarlac.

According to Balikatan 2021 exercise director Marine Major General Edgard Arevalo, the exercise will “simulate the need to employ air capability while observing the procedures involved during call for fire.”

The simulation will be held on April 20.

“The intent of every iteration of Balikatan is for both armed forces to train together on defense and security leveraging on the capability, experience, and strength of their friendship,” Arevalo said.
