Turkey’s Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSB) announced today that the first batch of delivery for Turkey’s Long-Range Air and Missile Defense System Project arrived today in Ankara.

The said project involves the Russian S-400 system.

Turkey’s SBB has signed a contract with Rosoboronexport – intermediary agency for Russia’s exports/imports of defense-related and dual use products, technologies and services – for the said project.

It added that parts of the system will continue to be delivered in coming days until the system is fully ready for operation as determined by relevant authorities.
