Trainees under the Special Forces Combat Qualification Course (SFCQC) Class 12-17 have completed their deployment to 10th Infantry ‘Agila’ Division (10ID), Philippine Army. A send-off ceremony was conducted for the Special Forces trainees today at Old Airport, Sasa, Davao City.
10ID said the ceremony presided by 1003rd Infantry ‘Raptor’ Brigade commanding officer Colonel Ernesto C. Torres. Colonel Torres delivered the message of 10ID commander Major General Noel S. Clement.
SFCQC Class 12-17 was placed under the operational control of 10ID on January 5, 2018. They conducted focused military operations against NPA in 10ID’s area of responsibility.
“In its months of deployment as OPCON to 10ID, SFCQL Class 12-2017 has been contributory to the command’s accomplishment for the first quarter of the year,” Major General Clement said through Colonel Torres.
Major General Clement thanked the Special Foreces trainees for “immense contribution in making Davao Region a peaceful and progressive place to live in.”
“While you are in the performance of your new mission, rest assured that the Agilas will continue to support you in any means and will always pray for your safety, protection and success,” he added.
