South Korea air force aerobatic team lands in PHL

Republic of Korea Air Force’s (ROKAF) flight display team 53rd Air Demonstration Group, nicknamed Black Eagles, has conducted a technical stop at Clark International Airport in Pampanga on January 27.

According to Philippine aviation information page Pinoy Aviators, the South Korean aerobatic team was “en route to Singapore to participate on the upcoming Singapore Airshow 2018.”

“The Black Eagles were accompanied by their ground team who were aboard a ROKAF C-130J medium lift/cargo aircraft of the ROKAF,” Pinoy Aviators said in its social networking page.

During the stop, fighter pilots of Philippine Air Force (PAF) 5th Fighter Wing met with pilots of the Black Eagles, Pinoy Aviators said.

Singapore Airshow 2018 will have two parts: February 6 to 9 (Trade days) which will be exclusive for trade visitors and professionals; and February 10 and 11 which will be for public.
