Singapore PM, North Korea’s Kim Jong Un meet

Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on evening of June 10 met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Kim and United States President Donald Trump are set to meet on June 12 to discuss the denuclearization of Korean Peninsula.

“We discussed developments in the Korean peninsula, as well as in the region. I complimented him on his decision to meet President Trump, and wished him a successful Summit and a good stay in Singapore,” Prime Minister Lee said.

Lee also met with Trump today.

“This is Mr Trump’s first visit to Singapore as the President. He is here for the DPRK-US Singapore Summit due to take place tomorrow,” Lee said.

Singpaore designated vicinity of St. Regis Hotel (9 to 14; Tanglin Road, Tomlinson Road, Orchard Boulevard and Cuscaden Road) and Shangri-la Hotel (10 to 14; Anderson Road and Orange Grove Road), and roads leading to Sentosa (12 to 13; Keppel Road, Telok Blangah Road and Sentosa Gateway) as Special Events Areas for the North Korea-US summit.
