Singapore donates COVID-19 test kits, machine to Philippines


The government of Singapore has donated 3,000 COVID-19 test kits and a machine to the Philippines.

“I received this afternoon a donation from the Singapore government of 3,000 COVID-19 diagnostic test kits and one polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machine,” Secretary Teddy Locsin said in a Twitter post.

“The equipment was personally handed to me by Ambassador Gerard Ho Wei Hong. Thank you, Singapore,” he added.


In connection with the donation, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph del Mar Yap signed on March 23, on behalf of Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III, the Deed of Donation.
