CALAX, a 45.29-kilometer toll road, will have a total of 8 interchanges and 1 main toll barrier (Mamplasan Toll Barrier) and will connect CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite to SLEX-Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna.

Interchanges include Kawit Interchange, Open Canal Interchange, Governor’s Drive Interchange, Silang (Emilio Aguinaldo) Interchange, Silang East Interchange, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Interchange, Laguna Boulevard Interchange, and Laguna Technopark Interchange.

The entire toll road is projected to be completed in 2020. The Mamplasan Toll Barrier to Laguna Boulevard Interchange is seen to open before 2018 ends.

MPCALA Holdings, a unit of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), the tollways arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC), won the contract to develop CALAX in June 2015.
