A Russian Tupolev Tu-22M3 crashed in Russia’s Murmansk Region, Russian news agency TASS reported citing information from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“On January 22, 2019, a Tupolev-22M3 bomber crashlanded in a blizzard after a routine training flight,” Russian Defense Ministry said as quoted by TASS.
It added that collision with the runway caused the plane to fall apart. The bomber was carrying no weapons. Initial information confirmed that two of four crew members died.
