Russian government’s arms exporter Rosoboronexport is present for the first time at this year’s Asian Defense, Security & Crisis Management Exhibition and Conference (ADAS), the Philippines’ flagship defense, security, and crisis management event.
ADAS 2018 opened today, September 26 and will end on Friday, September 28 at World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City.
Rosoboronexport said it brings to ADAS defense industry products that are most relevant in the Southeast Asian realities. It will present present more than 300 samples of weapons and military equipment of Russian manufacture for all arms and services.
Among the platforms that Rosoboronexport sees promising market in Southeast Asian countries are multirole fighters Sukhoi-35 and Sukhoi-30SME, combat and training plane Yakovlev-130, combat and transport helicopter Mi-35M, light multirole helicopter Ka-226T and military transport helicopter Mi-171Sh.
It added the Asian countries showed interest on missile and artillery system Pantsir-S1, man-portable missile Igla-S, Kalashnikov-100 series automatic rifles, mechanized infantry combat vehicle BMP-3, and armored personnel carrier BT-3F. Adding that the diesel-electric submarine of project 636, frigate Gepard-3.9 and a variety of boats are on offer for the naval forces.
