QC Police District acquires new Remote-Controlled Heavy-duty EOD Robot

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has acquired a new Remote-Controlled Heavy-duty EOD Robot.

QCPD Director Police Brigadier General Ronnie Montejo witnessed the capability demonstration of the newly acquired equipment on August 20.

He was joined by by Deputy District Director for Administration (DDDA) Police Colonel Juan Anonuevo and Chief District Directorial Staff (CDDS) Police Colonel Raul Tacaca.

“The EOD Robot is designed to provide enhanced bomb disposal capabilites. It can also be used to identify and disarm booby traps, fireworks, improvised explosive devices and other dangerous objects in closed areas, buildings and vehicles,” QCPD said.
