PNP opens one-stop shop facility for firearms, private security licensing

The Philippine National Police (PNP) opened on March 16 a One-Stop Shop facility to facilitate the speedy delivery of frontline services to PNP clientele. PNP Chief, Director General Ronald “Bato” M. Dela Rosa personally graced the inauguration and blessing of Civil Security Group (CSG) One-Stop Shop Building in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

CSG Director, P/Dir Federico L Dulay Jr. said the CSG One-Stop Shop Building was constructed to cater the needs of the clients and stakeholders for the application of License to Exercise Security Profession for private security (LESP) guards and License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) such as NP Exam, Drug Test, DI clearance, and payment process.

Also present in the ceremony were P/Dir Camilo Pancratius Cascolan (Directorate for Operations), P/Dir Jose Ma Victor Ramos (Directorate for Logistics), and C/Supt Elmer C Cabreros (Director, Engineering Service).

The PNP Chief personally led the ribbon cutting and unveiling of the marker of the One-Stop Shop that introduces technological and technical innovations such as a queuing system which is a set of principles aimed at controlling customer flow and streamlining.
