Philippine National Police (PNP) Officer–in–Charge Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar officially visited the Philippine Fleet today, March 19.
As part of the event, Police Lieutenant General Eleazar visited the Naval Air Wing where he was awarded Honorary Naval Aviator Badge.
Philippine Fleet commander Rear Admiral Bernabe and Naval Air Wing commander Commo. Karl A Decapia accompanied him during the visit.
The Philippine Fleet said Eleazar was presented with an organizational briefing that showcased the Command’s effort, initiatives, current programs and future plans in support to the accomplishment of the Philippine Navy mission and the Armed Forces of the Philippines as a whole.
“Likewise, a capability brief and display was also conducted to ensure that all PF ships and aircraft are always ready for deployment and are capable of providing assistance to the people. Through this display, it also shows that all personnel assigned to different Philippine Fleet platforms are well-trained, qualified and knowledgeable enough in performing their duties and responsibilities through the help and continuous cooperation of each and every unit of the Command,” the Fleet said.
“The said visit and awarding ceremony were conducted under the new normal situation with strict adherence to health and biosafety protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” it added.
