PNP holds prayer vigil for Chief PNP, other officers in helicopter crash

The Philippine National Police (PNP) national headquarters is conducting a prayer vigil at St. Joseph Chapel for PNP chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa and seven other police officers who were among the passengers of police helicopter that crashed in Laguna morning of March 5.

According to PNP, the victims were rushed to the nearest hospital by the responding Highway Patrol Group (HPG) personnel and medical personnel while the fire truck on standby instantly controlled the fire.

Police General Gamboa recovered conscious and was brought to the West Lake Hospital, Pacita, San Pedro, Laguna while the rest were brought to South Woods Hospital, Laguna.

Gamboa went to San Pedro, Laguna to visit the impounding area of HPG.
