The Philippine Navy’s second Jose Rizal-class frigate BRP Antonio Luna (FF151) is now sailing in Philippine waters en route to Subic. FF151 was sent off on February 5 in South Korea for its maiden voyage to Philippines.
FF151 is expected to arrive in Subic on February 10.

FF150 and FF151 were acquired through the Frigate Acquisition Project (FAP) which was awarded to Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) of South Korea.
The two frigates are designed to be capable of conducting anti-air warfare, anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and electronic warfare operations.
