PHL won’t regret climate change if sea covers weaponized reefs in WPS: Locsin

The Philippines will not regret the effects of climate change if rising sea levels will cover weaponized disputed reefs in West Philippine Sea, this was stated by Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Locsin Jr. in his Twitter account.

“At the UN Security Council I said the Philippines would not regret climate change and rising sea level if it covers the disputed reefs in the Sea China Sea and exposes the foolishness of taking and weaponizing them,” Locsin said via Twitter reacting to news report about the cause and effects of climate change.

“Rising sea levels will wipe out the issue of disputed reefs in the South China/West Philippine Sea. And good riddance,” he added in another tweet.
