The Philippines, through the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, is now operating 20 night-rated airports, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said.

This is from 15 night-rated airports in June 2016.

Transportation Secretary Art Tugade said night-rated airports are important.

The government aims to have all the country’s 42 airports to be night-rated by 2022.
