The Philippine Navy is currently looking for 180 new officers who will undergo the Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC).
Applicant should be at least 20 years old and not more than 24 years of age on the day of convening, natural born Filipino and of good moral character, single and not sired or bore a child, at least 5 feet, and graduate of 4- to 5-year baccalaureate degree.
According to Philippine Navy, graduates of the following courses are preferred in the NOCC program: BS Marine Engineering, BS Aircraft Maintenance, BS Aviation, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Naval Architecture, BS Educational Psychology, BS Biochemistry, BS Applied Physics, BS Civil Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Oceanography, BS Development Communication, AB Asian Studies, AB Development Studies, and AB Legal Management.
Initial requirements include diploma, transcript of records, PSA birth certificate, and resume.
