The said maritime patrol utilized PCG’s Boracay-class patrol boats BRP Panglao (FPB-2402) and BRP Malamawi (FPB-2403), Parola-class patrol vessels BRP Capones (MRRV-4404) and BRP Suluan (MRRV-4406), and a Britten-Norman Islander aircraft.

PCG said that the deployment in the area intensifies maritime routine operations of PCG Central Visayas.

“After said collective patrol, BRP Panglao and BRP Malamawi proceeded to Zamboanga to augment other assets in the Southern part of the country,” PCG added.
