Philippine Air Force (PAF) 710th Special Operations Wing (SPOW) conducted an Airborne Forces Combat Parachute Jump on January 31 at
Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base, Crow Valley Military Reservation in Capas Tarlac.
“Airborne Forces are moved by aircraft and “dropped” into battle by parachute. They are placed behind enemy lines and have the capability to deploy almost anywhere in short notice,” the Air Force said.
“Combat parachute jump is one of the capabilities of 710th SPOW personnel which needs to be enhanced,” it added. “Regular conduct of proficiency jumps enabled the “Skywarriors” to gain confidence as they are Train Hard and Fight to Win.”
