PAF expected to get Command and Control aircraft from Airbus soon

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is expected to take delivery of its Command and Control (C2) Fixed Wing Turbo Prop Aircraft from Airbus soon.

According to MaxDefense Philippines – citing information from several sources – the C2 aircraft, an Airbus C-295W, will be delivered soon, with July as the earliest.

In October 2018, the Department of National Defense (DND) awarded a contract worth €28,807,000.00 to Airbus to supply a C2 Fixed-Wing Turbo Prop Aircraft.

PAF is currently operating three C-295 as medium tactical transport aircraft under the 220th Airlift Wing.
