“In our bid to provide more support for frontliners and communities in Cebu, the OVP is sending a four-person team this week to assess the most urgent needs in the area, and to eventually lead the initiatives that we will launch there—similar to the various interventions under our COVID-19 Response Operations in Metro Manila,” the OVP said.

“More details on the specific initiatives will be available in the coming days, following our team’s assessment,” it added.

The OVP said “in the meantime, we would like to thank everyone who is stepping up to volunteer for our initiatives. This outpouring of support is yet another example of the spirit of Bayanihan that drives our response operations forward.”
