Newly activated Naval Task Group shows capability in Cebu

Newly activated Naval Task Group (NTG) “Sea Dog” demonstrated it capability in Oslob, Cebu on April 7, 2018. The NTG aims to secure the public from terror threats.

“We are always in the process of reviewing and enhancing our capability to respond to any emergency, including terrorist attack,” said Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Central Command commander Lieutenant Geneneral Paul Talay Atal.

“What we saw today in the demonstration manifests not just the improvement of our unit readiness and capability but the participation of our stakeholders in maintaining peace in our area of responsibility,” he said.
