The Philippine Navy has refurbished Patrol Boat (PB353) as display ship in line with the re-opening of Philippine Navy museum at Fort San Felipe, Cavite City, Naval Sea Systems Command said.

“With the goal of transforming the deactivated vessel into a presentable display ship, refurbishing works for PB353 kicked off last 30 September 2020 through the joint efforts of the Team NAVSHIP,” Naval Sea Systems Command said.

It noted that skilled personnel from the different trades simultaneously conducted their designated tasks to ensure the prompt and timely completion of the said project.

“The vessel will form part of the many static displays of the museum along with other displays from the different PN units. The initiative was part of the Naval Sea Systems Command’s contribution for the enhancement project of the said museum,” Naval Sea Systems Command said.
