The Philippine Navy will be administering entrance examination, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Service Aptitude Test for interested applicants in the Naval/Marine Officer Candidate Course (NOCC), Basic Seaman Course (BSC), and Marine Basic Course (MBC).
Examination date for interested NOCC applicants is on January 17, January 18 and 24 for MBC applicants, and January 25 for BSC applicants.
Examination venue for all of the above mentioned examinations is Acero Hall, Naval Station Jose Francisco (NSJF), Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
“The PN recruitment is accepting walk-in applicants from 7am to 8am in the morning on the above mentioned [dates],” Philippine Navy Recruitment said in its social networking page.
It added that applicants should bring 2×2 picture with white background, one valid ID, transcript of records, diploma or TESDA NCII certificate, and PSA birth certificate.
Among the requirements for BSC are: natural born Filipino citizen, single and no child to support, must be at least 5 feet tall, must at least have 72 units in college with certificate or TESDA with at least NCII level (preferably technical courses e.g. engineering courses, mechatronics, automechanics, computer programming, and the likes), at least 18 years old and not a day older than 26 yrs old on convening date, no tattoo.
Among the requirements for NOCC are: natural born Filipino citizen, single and no child to support, must be at least 5 feet tall, must be a college graduate (preferably technical courses for WHITE CAPS e.g. engineering courses, naval architecture, and the likes; tech or non tech for MARINES e.g. nurse, psychologist, and the likes), at least 21 and not more than 29 on August 1 of any given recruitment year, no tattoo.
