“The gas turbine LM2500 simulator is designed to demonstrate the operational system, emergency operations and troubleshooting, optimal operation, fuel economy and energy conservation,”NSSC said.

It explained that the simulator can be used to teach basic and advanced learning that can help students attain professional qualifications and become highly-qualified engineers.

Moreover, NSSC said that NSSC Commander Rear Admiral Rommel Jason Galang also showcased the NSSTC’s 360 Virtual Room and Video Recording Room.

“These initiatives are NSSTC’s ways of adapting to the new normal – the great education shift to the online platform. Though relatively new, NSSC believes that by being present and available virtually can not only ensure the safety of both students and instructors but more importantly, address the learning gaps created by today’s situation,” NSSC said.
