National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major General Debold Sinas has thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for trust and confidence. The Metro Manila police chief also appealed to his ‘bashers’ to move on.
“I would like to thank you for your trust and confidence. Thank you po, Mr. President at narecognize niyo po ako. Ako po ay natutuwa na at least the President recognized our effort,” Police Major General Sinas said as quoted by Inquirer.net.
Ako, hopefully nakamove on na sila, kasi ako nakamove on na ko,” Sinas said.
This is after President Duterte said the top Metro Manila police official will remain in his post. “They are all competent. But you know seniority. It is his time to be there and I do not believe in just firing him because kinantahan siya ng Happy Birthday,” President Duterte explained on May 19.
Well kanya-kanyang ano eh,” Duterte said.
Sabi mo, “the law is the law”. Well, akin na iyon. It’s my responsibility. But I will not order his transfer. He stays there until further orders,” the President said.
