Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian said that Valenzuela City is copying Pasig City’s deployment of mobile palengke.
Wala naman tayo sa school eh…in this case copying is allowed i think,” Mayor Gatchalian said in a reply tweet to one netizen asking if the city could also deploy mobile markets.
Mayor Sotto was first to admit that they were copying the best practices of other local governments. He said, in an interview with GMA News March 19, that the anti-panic buying ordinance Valenzuela City implemented was adopted in Pasig City.
Kung constructive, okay lang naman,” Sotto said in the interview.
“Let’s copy each others’ best practices.”
