Mayor Isko withdraws local permits of PCSO licensee, agent, franchisee

Manila Mayor ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso has released a memorandum directing the city’s Business License Office (BLO) to withdraw all business licenses and mayor’s permit given to operators of games under the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

This is after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the stoppage of gambling games under PCSO license and franchise due to massive corruption.

“In line with the President’s announcement, you are hereby directed to withdraw all Business License and Mayor’s Permit issued by the city to all PCSO licensee, agent, or franchisee of all its gaming schemes,” Mayor Isko said in a memo addressed to the city’s BLO.

Mayor Isko the directive will remain until President Duterte’s order regarding PCSO gaming operations is lifted.
