The government is eyeing to commence massive testing of Persons Under Investigation (PUI) and Persons Under Monitoring (PUM) starting April 14.

This was mentioned by Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) Secretary Carlito Galvez, Jr., who is also Chief Implementer of the government’s national policy against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

“On massive testing for PUIs and PUMs, we are also determined to fast track the accreditation of substantial laboratories so we can start the massive testing of PUIs and PUMs,” Secretary Galvez said.

“We expect that by April 14 we shall be able to start massive testing,” he noted.
