Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Locsin Jr. said, when asked in Twitter what is the official stand of the government regarding West Philippine Sea, that it is ours as ruled by the arbitration tribunal.
“The stand is that it is ours. And they took it. World’s highest court ruled that. Period,” he said.
“Now the question is how to take it back,” he added.
He also noted that personally he has no fear of war. “One attack on a public vessel triggers World War 3 with the USofA (United States of America) which is impervious to attack from Asia,” he added.
He also said, in another tweet, that he believes “in nuclear deterrence by small states who need it the most. If the small cannot be safe in the world then the world should not survive them.”
