The Littoral Combat Force (LCF) of Philippine Navy’s Philippine Fleet concluded Multi-Purpose Attack Craft (MPAC) Mark III Weapons System and Missile Training on June 27 in Sangley Point, Cavite City.
MPAC Mark IIIs are the first missile-equipped assets of the Philippine Navy.
The event was graced by Philippine Fleet commander Rear Admiral Danilo R. Rodelas as speaker.
Israeli weapons manufacturer Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is currently integrating the Typhoon Missile Launch System-ER in three Multi-purpose Assault Crafts (MPACs) Mark III.
According to Philippine Navy chief Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad, testing of missile system installed to MPACs might take place in July.
