Largest Philippine-registered ship blessed

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade, Usec. for Maritime Felipe Judan, Asec. for Maritime Fernando Juan Perez, Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Elson Hermogino, Philippine Ports Authority General Manager Jay Santiago, and MARINA Administrator Rey Guerrero, attend the blessing of M/T Chelsea Providence & M/V Salve Regina at Pier 6, Manila North Harbour in Tondo, Manila.

M/T Chelsea Providence is hailed as the biggest Philippine-registered ship, while M/V Salve Regina is a brand-new Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) passenger vessel of the Chelsea Logistics and Holdings Corp. (CLHC).

Also present in the event are CLHC President and CEO Chryss Alfonsus Damuy, and CLHC Chairman Dennis Uy.

On October 28, upon the instruction of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the DOTr, with the help of CLHC, will re-establish the Davao-Manila Shipping Route, which aims to further connect people in Luzon to our Mindanaoan brothers and sisters. DOTr
